Bitcoin, taught properly.
A university-level curriculum covering money, cryptography, mining, self-custody, and the economics of a fixed monetary supply. Taught in the Austrian tradition. Built for serious students.
A deceitful balance is an abomination before the Lord: and a just weight is his will.
Proverbs 11:1
The curriculum
Six modules. One discipline.
The sequence runs from the nature of money to a defended capstone. Students read, build, and verify. Nothing is taken on authority.
-
The History of Money
Money predates the state, and states have debased it from Rome forward. This module traces commodity money, coinage, banking, and the gold standard to show what a society loses when money is decreed.
-
How Bitcoin Works
Bitcoin is a protocol with precise moving parts and no ruler. Students work through hashing, digital signatures, transactions, blocks, and consensus until the whitepaper reads as plain engineering.
-
Mining and Energy
Proof of work anchors the ledger to physical cost, which is why no decree can rewrite it. This module covers mining hardware, difficulty adjustment, and energy markets with primary data from grid operators and mining firms.
-
Self-Custody and Security
Property that requires permission is not property. Students practice wallet setup, seed storage, multisignature arrangements, and inheritance planning until their keys answer to no custodian.
-
Bitcoin Economics
Sound money disciplines the state and rewards the saver. This module applies the Austrian school, from Menger through Mises and Hayek, to a money whose issuance no committee can change.
-
Building on Bitcoin
Bitcoin supports layers of software and services above the base protocol. Students design a capstone project that carries sound money into ordinary life and defend it in open review.
Philosophy
Why a school.
Fiat money is unfair by design. Whoever prints it spends it first, and the loss falls on wage earners, savers, and the poor. A system built on quiet confiscation corrupts everything it funds, and naming that corruption is where the curriculum begins.
The school stands in the Austrian tradition. From Menger to Mises to Rothbard, the framework is consistent: money is a market good, sound money disciplines the state, and no committee deserves the power of issuance. First principles over headlines, in economics as in engineering.
BitcoinSchool is a Catholic organization. Scripture calls a false balance an abomination and a just weight a delight, and debasement is a false balance at the scale of civilization. Sound money is a matter of justice. Liberty is its fruit. The graduate who holds his own keys and verifies his own transactions is sovereign in the oldest sense of the word.
Fiat delenda est.
